There will be an increase in fare prices from April 1st 2024. These changes are necessary to ensure the sustainability of our bus services following the end of the ‘Bus Transition Fund’ Welsh Government funding scheme.

This increase will affect all Adventure Travel tickets that remain available to purchase from April 1st* (Cardiff CrossCity, Swansea Inner/Outer Zones, and schools). 

*Please note that from 1st April 2024, a number of our ticket types will be removed from our website/app and will no longer be available to purchase. Please see here for the summary of ticket changes. 

The rate at which the fares will increase varies per ticket type but the average increase on a ticket is 5%.

A new ‘102 Cross Town’ ticket has been created to replace the previous ‘Taff Valley’ tickets. The ‘102 Cross Town’ ticket will only be valid on route 102.

The popular ‘CrossCity’ tickets will remain in place for use on the C1 route in Cardiff.
