Fares Change on January 5, 2025 13/12/2024
From Sunday, January 5th, some of our fares will increase. Swansea fares will increase on February 2nd and the school service fares will increase in September 2025. Traws Cymru T6, Ystradgynlais 62 and 64, Cardiff Airport 905 and Network rider remain unchanged.
This annual fare rise will involve increases in cost between 6% and 8% depending on the ticket type. We understand that fare increases are never good news; however, these increases are necessary due to the continually increasing cost of operation.
The daily, weekly and monthly fares across the network will be as per the table below as of January 5.
Some new fares have been created on the C1 route to give good value travel between certain points. Further information on these fares will follow in a separate post.
Tickets are always cheaper when using our app and customers in the Cardiff, Pontypridd and Swansea areas can benefit from the cheapest tickets by purchasing their tickets that way. To download the app, search for ‘Adventure Travel Bus’ in the app store or log into the ticket portal here.
Discounts on multi-journey tickets are also available for our frequent travellers.
The Network Rider ticket and the fares on the Traws Cymru T6 and Ystradgynlais 62 and 64 remain unchanged. We continue to offer additional discounts for NHS employees – To find out more, visit our website.
